Hey there! My name is Leo Phung, and I am a BU senior majoring in Computer Engineering + Machine Learning. I got into tech the same way a lot of us did, by messing around with Minecraft mods and changing the game until it matched my vibe. That little spark turned into a full-on love for building things, solving problems, and making tech actually work for people. These days, I am all about software engineering and data analytics, especially when it comes to turning messy numbers into clarity (and cool projects).
I worked as a Corporate Data Analytics Intern at Stellantis, where I built Azure-based data pipelines to process and manage large-scale business data. I developed analytics dashboards and visualization tools that helped teams track performance and understand user behavior. My work supported data-driven decision-making across the organization and strengthened my skills in Python, SQL, and cloud architecture.
At John Hancock, I supported the Fixed Income Research team by analyzing market data, evaluating bond performance, and helping identify trends across credit sectors. I worked with large financial datasets to generate reports that informed portfolio decisions. This role strengthened my analytical skills and gave me hands-on experience with data-driven investing.
